DROUGHT
Exposed and cracked mud on a reservoir floor, newly revealed islands, marooned houseboats and boat docks – it’s all part of the new normal as California experiences extreme drought.
The state is getting warmer, hotter and drier. Crops in the central valley are failing and the state has imparted a drought emergency, in some cases, even water restrictions for certain farmers.
